The Apostles of Jesus Congregation is a local Institute founded in Moroto, Uganda on 22 August 1968 by two Italian Comboni Missionaries, Bishop Sisto Mazzoldi and Fr. John Marengoni. The Apostles of Jesus Congregation has three communities in the diocese: Priests doing Apostolate in Bubaare Parish in Ibanda Municipality and Ishongororo Parish in Ibanda District. The Apostles of Jesus pioneered in the opening up these two parishes.
The third community of Apostles of Jesus is helping running a Vocational School in Kabale Centre in Katete Parish.
