About The Daughter of Mary (Bannabikira)
The Daughters of Mary is a Locally founded congregation of Pontifical Right whose Mother House is in Masaka Diocese. They are commonly known in Luganda as the Bannabikira Sisters. The Congregation has one house located at Kitabi Parish, the sisters in this community are engaged in teaching catechumens. They are in charge of a primary school and they also founded a Vocational Institute where girls come to learn skills like sowing, catering, home crafts and hair dressing.
