About The Brothers of St. Joseph the Worker
The Congregation of the Brothers of St. Joseph the Worker was founded in Fort Portal Diocese in 1973 by the late Bishop Serapio Bwemi Magambo (1928-1995). The brothers live a simple, communal life of prayer, guided by the Gospel counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience through private promises.
